Peter Jograj serves as head of Newmark’s Northwest marketing department and has been with the firm for 13 years, leading an in-house agency team of designers and programmers that serves the Newmark’s Northwest agents from the Seattle/Portland region to the Bay Area. Mr. Jograj develops the firm’s local corporate marketing strategy and provides specific project creative direction for marketing materials in myriad design disciplines, helping to give Newmark’s industry-leading materials a technologically advanced approach.
Mr. Jograj joined Newmark with prior New York agency design experience, having headed presentation, video and onlin¬e advertising/marketing efforts for such companies as Condé Nast (The New Yorker and Vanity Fair), Hearst (Marie Claire), Marvel, the NBA and Viacom (MTV). He used this experience to help Newmark refocus its marketing toward newer technologies, including a new responsive version of Newmark’s corporate site for Northern California, providing UI/UX and front-end programming for NorCal’s first intranet, overseeing creation of its first client-specific website and designing and implementing the first 3-D rendered virtual tours used in the firm. Since joining Newmark, Mr. Jograj has overseen three corporate rebranding efforts and created marketing and brand strategies with clients for such notable properties as:
- 181 Fremont, San Francisco (Jay Paul Company)
- 237 at First, San Jose (South Bay)
- Bay Meadows, San Mateo (Wilson-Meany)
- Catalyst, Sunnyvale (SIMEON)
- Genesis, South San Francisco (Phase 3)
Mr. Jograj is always looking to adapt and implement new marketing materials, technologies and strategies that provide a synergy of the forward-thinking nature of Silicon Valley with the hard-nosed work ethic of Madison Avenue. He and his team of talented marketing managers and designers work to create a new brand identity with each property-one that fits the client, the property and the firm.
