Mike Falk’s extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate has resulted in countless business transactions. Widely recognized national companies as well as prominent local businesses have relied on Mr. Falk to accomplish their real estate goals. His business philosophy is centered on action, and his hard work has led to his involvement in billions of dollars in property transactions, including facilities sold and/or leased, investment sales, and industrial land sales. His extensive marketplace knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and devotion to integrity and trust have allowed Mr. Falk to excel as the best in the real estate industry and gain the respect of his colleagues and clientele.
Mr. Falk is an active member of the World President’s Organization (WPO), where he serves as Education Chair of his chapter. He also served on the regional board of U.S. Bank in an advisory position. As a certified member of the CCIM and SIOR organizations, the two most comprehensive commercial real estate designations in the industry, Mr. Falk is committed to professional developing business opportunities in Utah.
Upon graduating from the University of Utah, Mr. Falk began a standout career as the Coldwell Banker (now CB Richard Ellis) “Commercial Rookie of the Year.” Mr. Falk was awarded the Salt Lake Board of Realtors “Commercial Salesman of the Year” in 1994 and remained the top producing agent at Colliers CRG (now Cushman Commerce CRG) before co-founding ACRES Commercial Real Estate in 1998.
Since 1998, Mr. Falk and his team have grown Newmark from its infancy to a mature, full-service commercial real estate company that has been recognized as the #1 Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Property Management in Utah since 2009. With three satellite offices located throughout Utah and a team of services at his fingertips (Advanced System Tracking for Real Estate Operations - ASTRO, GIS Mapping, IT Solutions), Mr. Falk is able to provide comprehensive service to his clients. In addition, Mr. Falk’s vision has led to the development of several horizontal and vertical service companies that not only transact their clients’ real estate but also service their needs long after the transaction has been completed. Mr. Falk holds a B.S. in finance with emphasis in real estate investment and appraisal from the University of Utah. He completed his CCIM and SIOR accreditation.
