Mickey Droney, MAI joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2018 and currently serves as Vice President. He brings to his position 18 years of valuation and advisory experience.
Mickey has performed valuations and market studies on a wide variety of properties, including office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily residences, condominium developments, student housing, industrial properties, self storage and vacant land.
His valuations have been utilized for a variety of uses including financing, litigation support, feasibility determination, due diligence support and estate planning. His clients have included banks and financial institutions, life insurance companies, conservation groups, law firms, developers and investors, corporations and government agencies.
In addition to appraisals, Mickey has provided expert testimony for ad valorem assessment appeals in the Court of Common Pleas in Allegheny County and the Board of Assessment Appeals in Allegheny, Westmoreland and Cambria counties.
Prior to Newmark, Mickey worked in Integra Realty Resources’ Pittsburgh office until its acquisition by Newmark in 2018.

Mickey is a graduate of Denison University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He has also successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, American Society of Appraisers, McKissock, accredited universities and others.
