Michael Reid joined Newmark in 2017 and currently serves as a senior managing director in the company’s Atlanta office. A 33-year corporate real estate veteran and one of the country’s top industrial brokers, Mr. Reid has substantial expertise in all aspects of industrial real estate. He specializes in marketing large, vacant, single-user industrial properties and also represents purchasers and tenants in the marketplace.
Mr. Reid joined Newmark after serving as a senior vice president for 30 years with Binswanger, where he led its Tennessee operations. Since 2004, Mr. Reid has completed 104 vacant sales and lease transactions totaling more than 40 million square feet with a combined value of over $465 million.

Education
Mr. Reid graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial relations. He was a four-year letterman on the UNC soccer team and a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
