Michael Bennett serves as Vice Chairman in Newmark’s Atlanta office, where he advises industrial occupiers and owners. His practice spans owner-occupied acquisitions and dispositions, lease transactions, build-to-suit developments, sale-leasebacks, and portfolio consolidations for corporate clients, providing end-to-end strategic real estate advisory services.
In addition to his client advisory work, Bennett serves in a leadership role on Newmark’s Industrial Advisory Board, helping guide strategy and best practices across the firm’s national industrial platform.
By leveraging advanced analytics and data related to labor availability, transportation networks, customer demographics, and economic incentives, Bennett enhances strategic decision-making and delivers data-driven real estate solutions aligned with his clients’ operational and business objectives.
Prior to joining Newmark, Bennett was a Managing Principal in Cresa’s Atlanta office, representing industrial tenants and earning recognition as a top-10 producer company-wide. Earlier in his career, he competed at the highest level of professional athletics, playing two seasons in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals after a standout collegiate career as a four-year starter at the University of Georgia.
