Marc Finkel is a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Marc specializes in retail leasing and investment sales for landlords and retailers throughout the New York Metropolitan area and Southern California markets. He joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF. Marc began his career with RKF in 2001 as an Associate.
Marc has represented retailers such as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Goorin Brothers, Flywheel Sports, Intermix, American Apparel, Miansai, Chop’t Creative Salad Company, The Chobani Company, The Tao Group, Badgley Mischka, Eggslut, Ramen Champ, Lunchbox, Dune London and John Fluevog.
He represents landlords such as Related Companies, The REEC Group, David Ellis Realty, Midwood Investment and Development, The Arba Group, Hudson Capital Partners and Ashkenazy Acquisitions. Most recently, Marc represented Miansai at 1116 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice and Dune London in its lease at 518 Broadway in SoHo. Marc participated in the leasing of 350 West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District, where he represented both the landlord and the tenant, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. He also recently completed an investment sales transaction for 63 Spring Street on the corner of Lafayette and Spring Street in SoHo where he represented all parties as well as the sale and lease back of 100 West 93rd Street to Manhattan Childrens Center.
He earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Emory University. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of California and New York. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York.
