Lucas Kooyman

Lucas Kooyman joined Newmark’s Retail division at the company’s New York headquarters in 2012. As an Associate Director, Kooyman specializes in retail leasing and offers representation on both the tenant and owner side of the transaction. He has successfully leased agency assignments across multiple markets, most notably the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Kooyman has also demonstrated his value as a tenant representative through his focused research on changing demographic patterns and price points to realize the optimum lease.

Kooyman has represented tenants such as Citibank, The Shade Store, Nusr-Et/Dogus Group, Dr. Smood, Kidville, SPiN, Westside Market, Café Metro, The Mandell School, Foodtown, and Fox’s Designer Off-Price; and landlords such as Hyatt, Friedland Properties, Cohen Brothers Realty, Alexico Group, Weinreb Management, Charles H. Greenthal & Co./Mark Greenberg Real Estate, and Roxann Management.

Kooyman is a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of New York.

Kooyman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and philosophy from Tufts University.
