Kevin Lachoff serves as a director in Newmark’s Los Angeles office, where he has worked closely with David Lachoff and a variety of strategic partners since joining the company in 2004. Kevin has represented owners, developers, landlords and tenants with ability and integrity in a variety of retail and office leasing and sales transactions. As a member of a unique and dynamic team, Kevin owes his impressive reputation to his strong negotiating skills and commitment to client objectives. He is the 2006 winner of Grubb & Ellis’ Rookie of the Year award and an alumnus of NAIOP SoCal’s 2006-2007 Young Professionals Group.
Kevin is currently a vice chair on the board of directors of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. A board member since 2009, he was a chair of the board in 2015 and will serve as vice chair from 2016 through 2020, having previously held that position in 2014 and from 2011 to 2012. Kevin also chaired the Governmental Affairs Committee in 2011 and 2012 and shared responsibility for the chamber’s political action committee and Young Professionals Group from 2009 to 2011. Kevin is also active in the Culver City Downtown Business Association and the West Hollywood Broker Roundtable, is a member of the Lambda Alpha International (LAI) Land Economics Society and belongs to the industrywide International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and NAIOP.
Additionally, Kevin serves on the Culver City Planning Commission. The city council has appointed him to serve on the commission twice, from 2012 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2020. He served as vice chair from 2014 to 2015 and as chairman from 2015 to 2016, and he will serve as vice chair again from 2019 to 2020. Kevin previously served on the city’s Advisory Committee on Redevelopment from 2011 to 2012 and on its Landlord/Tenant Mediation Board from 2010 to 2012.
Kevin holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in communications and film studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
