Katherine (Kate) Kaltenborn joined Newmark in 2019 and currently serves as an associate director in the company’s Washington, DC, office. Ms. Kaltenborn focuses primarily on agency leasing and tenant representation in the Washington, DC, metro area.
Prior to Newmark, Ms. Kaltenborn was a senior associate at Cambridge Property Group, LLC, where she represented 1.6 million square feet of office, medical, industrial and flex space for numerous owners in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland. Previously, she served as a marketing coordinator at Cushman & Wakefield, where she worked closely with the agency leasing teams and helped lead marketing strategy meetings with clients to ensure client satisfaction and success throughout the leasing process.
Ms. Kaltenborn began her career in commercial real estate after serving as the marketing director for Work Design Magazine, an online magazine focused on the evolution of workplace culture, research and design. During her tenure at Work Design, she was a contributing author to Change Your Space, Change Your Culture, an industry reference book on workplace design for the “unengaged worker.”
