Gary Coker joined Newmark (previously Newmark Grubb Acres) in 2013 and currently serves as the Principal Broker and Executive Vice President over Asset Services including Property Management, Engineering Services and our PM Accounting group. A 20+ year commercial real estate veteran, Gary has substantial expertise in commercial property management of all property types, as well as property management and investment fund-level accounting. He currently oversees a team of over 30 Management, Accounting and Engineering personnel who service nearly 10 million square feet of commercial assets along the Wasatch Front.
As Vice President, Property Management Services for Utah, Gary has oversight responsibility to ensure the consistent delivery of quality services to each client. He serves as the link between the local asset services team and Newmark’s real estate services platform to ensure that we properly leverage the appropriate resources for each client and each managed property. This ensures that the proper resources are applied in order to meet both the client’s and Newmark’s high expectations on every assignment.
Prior to joining Newmark, Gary most recently served as the Managing Director of Asset Services in the Salt Lake City office of CBRE. In that role, he led the growth of their Asset Services division from 6 million square feet to over 9 million square feet under management.

Gary earned a Master and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University.
