Frank Griffin has actively been involved in the leasing and sales of retail commercial properties in the Denver metropolitan area for more than 30 years. He has a solid record of achievement in the successful closure of various commercial real estate transactions including investment sales (acquisition and disposition), leasing and development-including the roll-out of numerous tenants, renewals, relocations and expansions. Throughout his career, Mr. Griffin has completed more than 760 transactions for a total consideration in excess of $577 million for all retail property types including regional malls, mixed-use properties, power centers, community centers, neighborhood shopping centers, strip centers and triple net properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Griffin was the co-founder of Griffin Doyle & Associates, Inc. As the executive vice president, he oversaw the leasing and sales activities of the brokerage division responsible for more than 60 exclusive listings valued at more than $50 million. In 1995, Griffin Doyle merged with Moore Commercial Company, and Mr. Griffin assumed the role of senior vice president of the retail division.

Mr. Griffin has sold more than 1.5 million square feet of product type including retail shopping centers, free-standing triple net investments and user buildings. A sample of some of the transactions are listed below:
- Represented Summit Capital in the acquisition of Seven Hills Shopping Center, located at 18551 East Hampden Avenue. This 134,770-square-foot retail property was purchased for just over $15 million.
- Represented Hampden Villa Center LLC in the $9.5 million sale of Hampden Villa Shopping Center at 15132 East Hampden.
- Represented Tobey Properties in the sale of Parkridge Plaza, a mixed-use retail and office property. This 62,000-sqare-foot property sold for $5.2 million by an open bid process. Five years previously, Mr. Griffin represented Met Life Insurance when Tobey Properties purchased the property.
- Represented Starika Family Trust in the acquisition of a Walgreen’s at Smoky Hill and Himilaya in Aurora, Colorado, for $4.3 million. This free-standing NNN investment totaled 14,000 square feet.
- Represented Genesee Gem, LLC in the $4.1 million sale of Genesee Town Center, Golden, Colorado.
- Represented Myerstein Trust in the $3.2 million sale of Ivy-K Shopping Center, located at 64th Avenue and Ivy in Brighton, Colorado. The property, a former King Soopers anchored with shadow space, totaled 107,967 square feet.
- Represented Joseph Felix Realty Company in the acquisition of Centennial Square Shopping Center for $3.2 million. The center totaled 29,686 square feet of shadow space in a Safeway-anchored center.
- Represented Starika Family Trust in the acquisition of a Commercial Federal Bank building for $3.2 million. This free-standing, NNN investment totaled 5,500 square feet.
- Represented Goodwill Industries in the acquisition of two former Eckerd’s free-standing buildings located on Parker Road and West Bellview in Aurora, Colorado, for $2 million and $2.6 million, respectively.
- Represented Nika Real Estate in the sale of Aspen Professional Center, located at 5104 South Field Street. This 8,189-square-foot medical office building sold for more than $1.8 million.
- Represented General American Met Life Insurance Company in the $1.4 million sale of The Shops at 6th Avenue, a 14,414-square-foot retail strip center located at 6th Avenue and Indiana in Golden, Colorado.
