Deverick Jordan, MAI, FRICS, is a vice chairman with Newmark’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Dallas office. He joined the firm in 2020 and brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, with property type expertise including multifamily, student, senior and manufactured housing, as well as commercial and retail properties. He has coordinated various debt structures via permanent, bridge, life company, equity and mezzanine financing.
Previously, Mr. Jordan was an executive vice president of Capital Markets at Dallas-based Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). In this capacity, he was responsible for securing financing of nearly $2 billion, mainly via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Prior to that, Mr. Jordan was at Deverick & Associates, a full-service real estate appraisal, consulting and review firm, specializing in high quality multifamily appraisals.
Education
Mr. Jordan is a licensed broker in the state of Texas and graduated from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, with a degree in Real Estate Finance.
