As Newmark’s Vice President of Property Management for Minneapolis, David Wright is responsible for oversight of the firm’s third-party asset portfolio throughout the metro. Wright implements industry best practices, policies and procedures on a daily basis to maximize the value of his clients’ real estate assets and to develop new lines of business that will grow both profitability and presence in the market. more than 32 years of commercial real estate experience, Wright is known to emphasize the importance of team building and welcome multiple points of view before reaching an optimal decision. A promoter of collaboration, Wright strives to build and strengthen relationships with internal business leaders, as well as outside partners, in order to ensure business is profitable for all parties involved and client objectives are consistently being met.
Prior to joining Newmark, Wright served as the General Manager for the commercial portfolio at Madison Equities. In this role, he was accountable for all commercial property activities, including property and facilities management, parking management and operations, leasing and lease negotiation, asset management, tenant relations, security, construction management and all aspects of financial management. He also had an extensive career with U.S. Bank, where he held positions as Vice President, Senior Director of Asset Management and Acquisitions/Dispositions; Vice President, Senior Property Manager; Director of Property Management; Regional Property Manager; Project Manager; and Property/Facility Manager.

Wright earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Minnesota State University-Mankato with concentrations in management, marketing, economics and finance.
