As head of Knight Frank Commercial USA, Colin Fitzgerald MBA FRICS manages Knight Frank’s relationship with its U.S. alliance partner, Newmark. Mr. Fitzgerald focuses on U.S. companies’ real estate needs globally, resulting in over 1,000 transactions in the last four years.
Mr. Fitzgerald brings to his position over 30 years of international real estate business experience in the U.K., Greater China and the U.S. He has experience in every aspect of corporate real estate, particularly team structure, portfolio planning (sales and leasing strategies) and optimisation for multimarket companies. Clients of Mr. Fitzgerald include Blackstone, Hang Seng Bank, HSBC, Nokia and Ouolo Hotels.
Mr. Fitzgerald attained his current position in 2015, after 12 years as CEO of Greater China. His leadership in Hong Kong was crucial to the successful launch of the Global Corporate Services business in Asia Pacific, which now comprises clients such as Boeing, Cummins, L’Oréal, Nielsen and Nokia and continues to generate a steady flow of work across the region.
Additionally, Mr. Fitzgerald led Knight Frank Hong Kong’s merger with Chesterton Petty, added three offices in China and oversaw considerable growth responsible for Greater China expanding into a business of more than 300 professionals. In 2014, he was instrumental in adding the new office in Taiwan to the Knight Frank global network.
Mr. Fitzgerald is a Strategic Management Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He holds a Master of Business Administration degree.
