Carrie Frye is Executive Vice President and Market Leader for the Chicagoland area. In her role, Frye is responsible for supporting day-to-day business for brokerage services and driving strategy, culture and growth across all business, and service lines in the Chicago offices, including tenant and landlord brokerage, global corporate services, capital markets, valuation and advisory, and project and property management. With a focus on growth, collaboration and client advocacy, Frye strategically furthers the goals and objectives of the Chicagoland area offices in alignment with Newmark’s national initiatives and direction.
Prior to joining Newmark, Frye spent 16 years at CBRE in a variety of positions. Most recently, as Managing Director, she was responsible for new business development for Fortune 500 multi-market clients headquartered in the Midwest and the Southeast. Throughout her career, Frye has completed over 200 transactions around the globe, totaling 2.5 million square feet in consideration of $750 million. Frye’s areas of expertise include evaluating portfolios on micro and macro levels, strategic management of international portfolios, advising clients on strategic real estate decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and financial analysis.
Frye has specialized in Financial Services Thought Leadership as well as Post Merger and Acquisition restructuring strategies.
Frye graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
