Alexis Matt joined Newmark in early 2021 and is an associate vice president of Newmark’s property management in the Phoenix, Arizona office. With over a decade of property management experience, Alexis has expertise in Class-A office, retail, industrial, and medical commercial real estate management. Alexis helps facilitate all operations of assets, while keeping the client’s portfolio strategy at the forefront of her priorities. Alexis has succeeded in retaining management on high profile projects despite the buyers having capable in-house management departments. She contributes this success to her tenant relationships and her ability to prioritize innovative investment approaches with her clients and their partners.
Alexis brings high-level experience in construction management, accounting practices, tenant relations, building operations, due diligence, lease negotiations, dispositions, and sustainability practices. Her experience with all asset types and a large variety of diverse tenants and clients helps her to have the ability to come up with innovative strategies to suit the investment strategies of each individual real estate owner. Alexis prides herself on the strong relationships with industry partners such as brokerage teams, vendors, architects, engineers, attorneys, and general contractors, in order to develop and implement the best business plans to exceed the ever-changing needs of real estate clients. Alexis works alongside Logan Mather, Director of Management Services, to build up and expand the presence and reinvigorated brand of Newmark Management in the Arizona Market.
Prior to joining Newmark, Alexis began her career at CBRE. She spent over 10 years working with institutional and non-institutional clients on efficiently managing and navigating asset strategies. With previous clients such as Invesco, Artis, REIT and Piedmont, she brings a wealth of knowledge to all aspects of the property management team.
