Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark (C&CCNewmark) Retail has secured four new tenants for the successful White Road Plaza, located at the junction of Story and White Roads in East San Jose. Totaling 32,650 square feet, the new leases bring the 152,000-square-foot shopping center to 99 percent occupancy. Anchored by the Latino community’s favorite supermarket, Mi Pueblo Foods, and Rite-Aid, White Road Plaza’s new tenants include dd’s Discounts, Foothill Community Health Center, Papa Chau’s Chinese Fast Food and Tim’s BBQ Pit.

dd’s Discounts, a clothing and home goods chain store owned by Ross Dress For Less, signing for 25,400 square feet, is planning to open in the fourth quarter of 2013. Foothill Community Health Center, a vital health care resource, plans to open its new, 4,800-square-foot clinic in August of 2013. Tim’s BBQ Pit, leasing 1,250 square feet, and Papa Chau Chinese Fast Food, leasing 1,200 square feet, both plan to open food service businesses in September of 2013. One 2,000-square-foot unit remains available for lease.
