Eva’s Bridal, a third-generation family-owned bridal shop that has been in business for more than 45 years, will re-open on Nov. 1 at Prairie Town Center. The Ghusein family signed a new, 6,500-square-foot lease at 10808 S. Cicero Avenue, which is located in the heart of Oak Lawn directly across from City Hall, the police station and the Oak Lawn Public Library, following a destructive blaze last November at its previous site on W. 95th Street.
Eva’s Bridal’s, which claims to be the oldest bridal salon in the country, was recently awarded a Brides Magazine’s “Editor’s Choice Award” for 2011.
James Schutter, a Senior Managing Director with Newmark Retail, said, “Eva’s Bridal will join Plaza Café, another successful business that is relocating to Prairie Town Center. The high profile central Oak Lawn location is a big draw for these two establishments.”
Schutter and associate Kevin McNamara, represent the landlord, Prairie Town Center Partners, in these transactions. Carole Caveney of Arthur J. Rogers & Co. represented Eva’s Bridals in the transaction, while Schutter and McNamara worked directly with Plaza Café in its relocation from Orland Park, Ill.
