Newmark is pleased to announce that industry veterans Rick Schuhwerk, Ed Jarosz, Anthony Coskren and Brian Pinch have joined the firm’s Boston office and will serve as its new industrial team.
“Rick, Ed, Anthony and Brian are respected professionals in the industry that bring significant CRE industrial experience to their roles,” said Luis Alvarado, executive vice president in Newmark’s Boston office. “This team will work closely to grow the industrial leasing and capital markets practice and will undoubtedly be valuable assets to the team and our clients.”
Bringing more than 17 years of experience to his role, Schuhwerk has joined the firm as executive managing director. Prior to joining Newmark, he served as managing director with JLL where he specialized in industrial and R&D leasing and sales. He began his career with Parsons Commercial Group in Framingham, MA before joining JLL in 2005 to lead the New England Industrial Practice Group. Schuhwerk has been serving his industrial landlord and tenant clients in many different capacities including building sales, leasing, land sales, lease terminations and industrial real estate consulting with developers and institutional owners. Since 2001, he has completed in excess of 45 million square feet of transactions.
Jarosz joins the team as executive managing director. He brings over 20 years of real estate experience specializing in industrial and R&D leasing and sales. He spent 14 years with CBRE as a part of its Industrial Practice Group and joined JLL in 2014 where he was most recently a managing director and helped lead the New England Industrial Practice Group. Jarosz has been an effective and versatile broker, serving clients in many different capacities including building sales, leasing, land sales, lease terminations, and industrial real estate consulting with developers and institutional owners. He has transacted in excess of 45 million square feet since 2001.
Also joining Newmark’s Boston office is Coskren, who will serve as executive managing director. Throughout his 11 years in the industry, he has successfully completed 35 million square feet of lease and sale transactions. Coskren’s primary expertise includes lease and sale negotiations, market analysis, corporate relocations, acquisitions, dispositions, as well as core and value-add sales. Before joining Newmark, he spent 11 years at JLL where he served as executive vice president and helped build the firm’s regional industrial team. Throughout his esteemed career, he has worked with notable clients such as Clarion Partners, Atlantic Management, Cabot Properties, Hilco Global, The Seyon Group, Wheelock Street Capital, Morgan Stanly and Novaya Ventures, to name a few.
With six years of commercial real estate experience specializing in leasing and sales of industrial and flex properties within the Greater Boston & New England Industrial markets, Pinch has joined the firm as managing director. Prior to joining Newmark, he spent five years at JLL as a vice president where he was responsible for generating and coordinating regional business as well as expanding corporate and institutional client relationships across New England, helping to grow the New England Industrial Practice Group. Before JLL, Pinch spent four years selling medical devices at Covidien. Throughout his career, he has executed more than 20 million square feet in leasing and sales transactions.
