Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) announces Executive Managing Directors, Junius Tillery and Brian Liss, won the CoreNet Global Mid-Atlantic Corporate Real Estate Partnership Award for their recent work to secure new Virginia headquarters for Promontory Interfinancial Network, LLC.
CoreNet presented the award for strong leadership and significant impact in advancing the field of corporate real estate, at its 12th Annual Awards of Excellence Gala in Washington, D.C.
“The NGKF team was a pleasure to work with,” said Susan Gayle, chief administrative officer, Promontory. “Not only did NGKF find us an efficient new Class A space for our headquarters that is ideally located in Arlington, they worked closely with us and kept us informed throughout the entire process.”
Tillery and Liss ensured Promontory’s process was successful by working closely with all teams involved in the transaction on location selection and budget tracking, as well as taking on additional responsibility for coordinating meetings with vendors, project managers and architects. The result was strong relationships with key stakeholders and a successful transition for Promontory into a new 36,867 square-foot headquarters.
Tillery has 27 years of experience in commercial real estate and previously has earned Crow’s Brokerage Excellence Award for Corporate Advisory Services. Liss has 30 years of experience representing tenants in leasing and sales transactions, property dispositions, strategic planning and advisory services. He has earned several awards, including Best Office Lease Deal award from Washington Business Journal.
