Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) is pleased to announce that the firm has promoted two of its key team members in its Chicago O’Hare office: Adam Marshall, CCIM and John Norris.
Mr. Marshall has been promoted to senior managing director. He has 12 years of experience in the real estate industry and specializes in the representation of industrial tenants, property owners and investors. He joined NGKF in 2014 as a managing director after serving as a vice president at NAI Hiffman. He began his commercial real estate career in 2003 as a marketing executive at Owen Wagener & Company. Throughout his career, Mr. Marshall has negotiated more than $300 million in transaction value for local, regional and national clients such as: ProLogis, TopLine Furniture, Liberty Property Trust, Bucher Hydraulics, McShane Development, Venture One and Zilber Property Group, to name a few.

Mr. Norris has been promoted to managing director. He has more than nine years of commercial real estate experience. He joined NGKF as a director in 2012, where he focuses exclusively on providing market expertise to landlords and owners in Chicago’s suburban market. Mr. Norris began his career in 2006 with Grubb & Ellis. Throughout his career, he has represented clients such as: The Blackstone Group L.P., Equity Commonwealth, James Campbell Company LLC, The John Buck Company, Millbrook Real Estate Company and Piedmont Office Realty Trust and has been responsible for $183.2 million in transaction value.

Mr. Marshall serves as secretary on the executive board of directors for the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE). A graduate from DePaul University, he is also on the board of directors for the DePaul University Alumni Association and is a member of the Chairmen’s Advisory Council for Big Shoulders Fund.
Mr. Norris graduated from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois, and a member of the Young Office Brokers Association.
