Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) has recruited Lynn Kious as senior managing director in its Los Angeles office. As an industry veteran with more than 25 years of broad experience and global leadership roles in corporate and commercial real estate, Kious will focus on tenant representation at NGKF, bringing her insight and hands-on expertise to the firm’s clients and business development opportunities.
Kious joins the firm from Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI), where she served as vice president and general manager of global real estate and workplace services - Americas, responsible for real estate accounts, all corporate real estate lines of business, and supporting new business development. Her background also includes the role of vice president of global real estate for The Walt Disney Company. Prior to JCI, Kious acted as senior managing director for CB Richard Ellis/Trammell Crow Company where she was responsible for all corporate accounts in the Western region. She began her career as a commercial and investment real estate broker in downtown Los Angeles. She now brings her strength in leading and developing global teams, organizational process, new business development and customer relationship management to NGKF.

Kious is a member of CoreNet Global and the Urban Land Institute, the Organization for Women Executives, the Downtown LA Breakfast Club and a Board Member of the Los Angeles Headquarters Association.
