Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) recently arranged seven new and renewed leases for more than 38,000 square feet at Woodbridge Corporate Plaza, 485 Route 1 South, in Iselin, N.J.
David Simson, vice chairman of NGKF New Jersey operations, Jamie Drummond, Michael Staskiewicz and Michael Marchese, all of the real estate services firm’s Rutherford, N.J. office, represent the building’s ownership, KBS Realty Advisors.
The new leases:
- GFI Group signed for 10,500 square feet. The tenant was represented by CBRE.
- ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. signed for15,715 square feet. Newmark Smith Mack represented the tenant.
- Stern & Eisenberg PCsigned for 2,477 square feet. NGKF represented the tenant.
The renewals by four tenants:
- BioCon Limited extended its lease of 2,000 square feet. The tenant was represented by the Garibaldi Group.
- SOA Software, Inc. renewed for 2,100 square feet.
- Indegene Pharmaceutical Solutions renewed for 4,055 square feet.
- Swift Solutions, Inc. renewed for 1,208 square feet.
“Woodbridge Corporate Plaza is located in one of the region’s prime office submarkets, and we see continued lively interest in its availabilities,” said Drummond. The six-building campus is situated a half-mile from the Metropark Train Station and 15 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport, not far from the intersection of three interstate highways.
Major tenants include Maidenform and Geodis Wilson USA, which both have headquarters at the complex; also, BNP Paribas, Bank of Tokyo, Progressive Insurance and TJX Companies (parent of TJ Maxx).
