Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) has promoted three executives at its Manhattan headquarters office to the position of senior managing director. Jason T. Greenstein, Daniel L. Levine and Joshua L. Friedman each have been with the firm for a little more than a decade.
“Jason, Danny and Josh have established themselves as terrific, highly respected brokers and are among the industry’s finest within their generation,” said David Falk, NGKF’s president for the Tri-State region. “They have ascended quickly here at NGKF due to their incomparable work ethic, ability and exceptional client relations.”
Mr. Greenstein focuses predominantly on tenant representation, advising a number of prominent corporations in Manhattan, including HQ moves for clients Havas Worldwide, Fifth & Pacific Companies (formerly Liz Claiborne), Kate Spade and SANDOW®. In addition, he handles leasing for 149 Fifth Avenue and The Puck Building. A member of REBNY and YMWREA, Mr. Greenstein was appointed to NGKF’s Young Leadership Council in 2011.
Mr. Levine has deep expertise advising both tenants and landlords in the Manhattan market, as well as handling international requirements for clients (including Corbis Images, a leading visual media provider for the creative community for which he has completed 30+ global transactions). 2012 highlights include representing Epic UK and Taconic in the full lease-up of 15 Little West 12th to Palantir Technologies, and negotiating deals for Centaur Properties with DualStar Entertainment (the Olsen twins’ fashion label) and Tumblr. He was appointed to NGKF’s Young Leadership Council in 2012.
Messrs. Greenstein and Levine both joined NGKF in 2001. As a team, the two negotiated more than 40 transactions in 2012, totaling over one million square feet.
Joshua L. Friedman joined NGKF in 2002. He is one of the tri-state region’s top brokers specializing in the representation of tenants within the financial services industry. Clients of Mr. Friedman include numerous prominent banks, hedge funds and private equity firms. He was appointed to NGKF’s Young Leadership Council in 2011.
