Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Neil Shupak and Justin Bell, exclusive listing agents for developer Trefoil Properties’ Pennsylvania office holdings, successfully leased 21,205 square feet of office space at Towamencin Corporate Center, located at 1690 Sumneytown Pike in Lansdale, Penn.
The new tenant, Almac Clinical Technologies, Inc. (Almac), sought Class A office space near its new U.S. headquarters in Souderton, Penn., and Class A finishes, according to Mr. Shupak and Mr. Bell, who relocated an existing tenant within the building to create an adjoining space large enough to accommodate Almac’sneeds. “This was a complicated transaction with three distinct parties to please, but with some creative negotiation we were able to accommodate everyone’s requirements,” remarked Mr. Bell.
“We were pleased to work with Almac’s representatives and architect D2 to create an open, inviting space for the staff,” said Betty Wrigley, senior vice president at Trefoil.
Commenting on the importance of the new facility to Almac, Jim Murphy, president of Almac’s Clinical Technologies business unit, stated, “Studley did a tremendous job helping us locate a great facility just minutes away from our North American headquarters in Souderton, Pa. The 77,000-square-foot Towamencin Corporate Center features an atrium lobby, on-site management and sits amidst 30 landscaped acres. At approximately 85% occupancy, several small suites remain available for tenants seeking easy access to the Lansdale Interchange of the Northeast Extension to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Route 476).
