Newmark announces the addition of Katherine C. Freehof, joining as director in the Las Vegas office. Ms. Freehof will work alongside office experts Senior Managing Directors Larry Singer and Chris Crooks and Managing Director Mike Tabeek, SIOR, CCIM, to specialize in office landlord and tenant representation. With combined commercial real estate experience totaling over 90 years; Freehof, Singer, Tabeek, and Crooks work with property owners, tenants and developers of office and industrial assets to make strategic decisions that maximize their clients’ real estate values.
“A landlord representation specialist with six years of experience, Katie offers a client service perspective and varied industry experience that will benefit our Las Vegas office, our specific office landlord and tenant representation team and our clients,” commented Tabeek. “We are thrilled that she has joined Newmark.”
Ms. Freehof joins Newmark from Cambridge Property Group in Tysons Corner, VA, where she was an associate vice president specializing in landlord representation in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland, with projects totaling more than 2.5 million square feet. Her previous experience also includes representing retail clients and properties as a sales and leasing associate at Divaris Real Estate, Inc. Throughout her commercial real estate career, Ms. Freehof has been involved in over 1 million square feet of lease transactions with a total lease value of more than $135 million. Ms. Freehof’s varied background also includes media relations, corporate reputation management, and brand-building campaigns for financial organizations and real estate companies.
Ms. Freehof obtained her Master of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Rollins College. She is on the Women’s Executive Committee of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, and a member of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association (CREBA), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
